Corey Impelmans takes up role as General Manager
Corey Impelmans recently joined Delta Electrics to take up the role of General Manager, in doing so Corey will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company as well as strategic development along with the company Directors. Delta’s previous General Manager / Director Damon Wagland has taken on the role of Managing Director and in addition to his MD responsibilities will concentrate on Business Development and Projects Development opportunities for the company.
Corey brings to Delta a wealth of experience and knowledge including managing the NT Branch of Cummins Diesel for over 7 years, he also worked as a Project Manager on large scale electrical projects for a number of years and most recently was the NT Operations Manager of Leighton’s Construction Industrial Division. In addition to this Corey holds an A Grade Electrical license, he has completed a number of certified business courses and has a full understanding of QA/OHS and E management systems. We believe that Corey will bring the necessary experience, professionalism and drive to take Delta into 2010 and beyond and wish him all the best for his career with Delta.
Delta Welding Trade Show
Delta Electrics recently held a Welding Products trade night with the assistance of our valued suppliers. The night was jammed packed with activity including product demonstrations, lucky draw giveaways, food drink and the Delta Powergirls were on hand to make sure that everyone had a good night. Don’t worry if you missed out on this one as we plan to hold a product trade night 6 monthly and they’re tipped to get bigger and better each time. New Clean Room
As part of our continued expansion into the electrical industry we recently completed the construction of our in-house clean room facility. The room will be used for a variety of purposes but 1st and foremost we will be using it to provide a clean, temperature controlled environment for the assembly of electrical boards along with pre delivery, repairs and maintenance on UPS machines and other sensitive electrical equipment.
