Relocation for Damon Wagland
Due to further expansion of the Think Water group, Delta’s Managing Director Damon Wagland has relocated his office to Think Water - Winnellie, where he will take on an active role as Managing Director of the Think Water-Winnellie and Coolalinga operations alongside his fellow Director and Think Water General Manager Adam Stockwell. Damon will remain as Managing director of Delta Electrics.
Delta's General Manager, Corey Impelmans will be responsible for managing the company and business development.
Introducing Anthony Comerford
Anthony Comerford – Service and Projects Manager commenced with Delta Electrics on the 1st March 2010.
Anthony is responsible for the operations of the Service Department and Projects Division. Anthony brings with him a Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering from Swinburne University, an A Grade Electrical and Contractors Licence and experience in mechanical and electrical systems installation. The focus of his role since joining Delta involves directing the Service Department to achieve excellence in the maintenance of Eaton UPS’s, Kubota and FG Wilson Generators and Fronius Welders. His role in the project department has been to cement the company’s capabilities in providing turn-key supply for remote and back-up power systems.
Siemens / McMinns Project
The McMinns project has been critical for the long term planning of Power Water Corporation infrastructure for Darwin. The Delta / Siemens partnership has grown and developed to a degree where we have delivered a successful upgrade of the high voltage switchgear at the McMinns substation.


The works have been completed ahead of time and Delta participated in this project during demolition, supply and installation of the High Voltage switchgear. Delta / Siemens capacity in the Northern Territory has taken a strong step forward by now having the qualifications of Delta Electrics technicians in the area of high voltage installation and commissioning.
Delta Electrics NT has a number of projects in progress with Power Water Corporation and will feature these installations in future updates of the website.
D.C. Remote Work
Delta undertakes large scale remote works on site for Telecommunications and Service, projects such as Life Cycle replacements of batteries and auxillary items demand planning, logistics and safe working processes. Delta implements its Quality Assurance OH&S practises to all its projects but additional demands are to be met when the working remote. Delta has had a long history in Solar and D.C. works and with its relationship with companies such a B.P. Solar currently and into the future will continue to deliver to all the areas of the Northern Territory.
