Delta Electrics recently completed an installation of a Grid Connect Solar Power System in the Darwin suburb of Moil. Grid connect solar power allows you to feed power back into the power companies network for which you will receive a rebate on your power bill; it’s good for the environment too.

Ergon Field Day
Delta Electrics conducted a field day at Amungee Mungee station to showcase the Ergon Energy Stationpower solar power system. Station owners from all parts of the Territory travelled vast distances to see first hand the latest in solar power technology. Delta received some strong enquiries from the field day and we have since quoted and installed a number of new systems.

Battery Bank
This battery shed was constructed for the DEMED Association by Delta Electrics to provide a clean cool location to help maintain the life of the batteries. Batteries are mounted in trays for safety in case of acid spills.

We completed this fully automatic Solar Hybrid Power System installation at Gumarirnbang Aboriginal Community in July 2003. The system is rated at 10.5kW and includes Solar / Diesel Generator / Battery and Control System.
